Goal Setting

How To Head In The Direction Of Your Success!

Written by Rob J. Temple

How often do you stop and think about “success”?

Relating success to your career, home life, social life and more, what does it mean to you? And are you moving towards it?

Have you even defined what success means to you in those areas? If not, that’s something you MUST do before reading the rest of this blog post. In fact, I wrote a post on a very similar topic which will help, it’s all about setting and creating goals.

When you know what success means to you, it becomes pretty obvious as to whether you’re kicking ass and taking names nearing the “finish line” with your ambitions.

Are you anywhere “near” success? Or have you merely defined it and left it on the back-burner?

Progress and results tell you everything you need to know about your desire, drive, and the amount of action you’ve taken towards creating success.

If you feel as though not much progress has been made, this is your “kick up the ass” moment…

Now, as the title of this blog post suggests, I’m going to give you some ammunition that will enable you to head accurately in the direction of your success.

It doesn’t matter what your goals are, or how different they are to those set by other people reading this post, the same methods apply to all ambitions.

BUT, instead of me laying out a clear cut plan of how to reach success (this doesn’t really exist), I’m going to give you instructions that if followed, will ALWAYS produce success.

The first task is to TAKE MASSIVE ACTION!

Whether that means diving in head first without a plan or being organised I don’t care. Taking massive action is in itself one of the most powerful things you can do.

Why?

Because when you take massive action you always produce some form of results that you can learn from.

Now, if your “massive action” was to create an effective and adjustable plan (which I’ve spoken about before on this blog!), then that’s excellent news too.

Why?

Because you would then have something solid and educated to follow helping remove “some” of the guesswork involved with taking action and producing results!

The real (and obvious) secret here to creating success is just TAKING MASSIVE FUCKING ACTION!!

Without taking big action in life, you will not move in the direction of your success. It’s that simple folks!

Contradicting one of my points above, I have to say this… Creating an effective plan will only go so far, it doesn’t ACTUALLY take you further towards success alone. You need to DO the steps laid out in your plans, which again requires you to get out there and make shit happen…

This post may seem aggressive, but I’ll tell you one thing… Most of the people I’ve ever met who’ve created substantial results and happiness “for themselves” in life take an aggressive approach to action.

Don’t confuse “aggressive action” with anything negative, it simply means that they went all out and PUNCHED fear in the face…

It’s a good thing, in fact, it’s a GREAT thing!

And I believe it’s what’s needed to create meaningful results. It separates those who are willing to go the whole nine yards from those who aren’t…

It only takes seconds to expose a “non-action taker”. Just ask them about their progress. Ask to see their results thus far in their journey. Fair enough if they’ve literally just started today/yesterday. But if they’re weeks, months or years into announcing their goals and they have nothing to show for it, they leave their willpower bare in front of the world to see.

Wrapping things up…

So to answer the question, “How do you head in the direction of your success?” I’d have to say this…

TAKE MASSIVE ACTION on your goals and don’t ever stop. It’s impossible NOT to head in the direction of your success when you take action on your goals…

If you take this advice and roll with it you’ll find that success is inevitable. And if you don’t, then you have no right to complain about the way that life is. Take life by the horns (cliché saying alert!) and remove your own suffering in life.
